Ashley K. Stoyanov Ojeda is a woman on a mission — a mission to build a hoard of Jefas, ruling the world with sharp minds and sharper eyeliner.

As a business coach, strategist, and non-profit founder, she is a woman who wears many hats. Her latest iteration of work has earned her a spot in Hispanic Executive Magazine as one of the “Latinxs to Watch.”

Ojeda applied all her work and life experience to create a bilingual planner specifically for Latinas called Jefa in Training: The Business Startup Toolkit for Entrepreneurial and Creative Women, making her work the first business book written for and targeted specifically to Latinas.

The step-by-step guide is meant to assist in launching and growing a business from the ground up, but with the added twist that the workbook is written in Spanglish. From affirmations to worksheets to goal setting, “Jefa in Training” is intended to take a business from the idea stage to the foundations.

Latinas are one of the fastest-growing segments of business growth in the United States, with over 2 million companies in the country, which has grown almost 90% in the last 15 years. Through her book, Ojeda hopes to offer Latinas trying to work towards self-employment, self-fulfillment, and growth a place to not only learn and build their resources but to do so in a way that keeps them connected to their heritage.
