One of the most anticipated annual music festivals in Chicago, Lollapalooza, recently unveiled its lineup and made history. Groundbreaking Latina artist, Karol G will be the first Latina to headline at the popular music event. Other artists include Kendrick, Lamar, Lana Del Rey, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Billie Eilish.

The festival takes place August 3 to 6, 2023 in Chicago’s historic Grant Park.

Ticket sales for the event began on March 23, but it’s not too late to grab yourself a spot if Chicago is your hometown or if you’re looking to catch a fun concert in another part of the country.

A prestigious celebration of music genres, Lollapalooza will feature over 170 international bands throughout the course of the event.

Karol G is not the only notable artist with Latine heritage performing at Lollapalooza. Other artists include Jessie Reyez, Ivan Cornejo, Jean Dawson, The Linda Lindas, Los Aptos, Usted Señalemelo, Isabel LaRosa, Junior Mesa, and more.

Karol G – as the first Latina to headline this annual event – is just one of the many “firsts” she has had over the last couple years. Let’s not forget that her most recent album “Mañana Será Bonito” became the first Spanish-speaking album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 and was one of the hardest concert tickets to grab this past year – every single one of her shows being completely sold out.

What’s next for Karol G? We can’t wait to find out.
