{"id":14689,"date":"2024-01-23T09:19:46","date_gmt":"2024-01-23T14:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuestrostories.com\/?p=14689"},"modified":"2024-01-23T11:10:05","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T16:10:05","slug":"la-controvertida-historia-del-taco-bol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuestrostories.com\/es\/2024\/01\/la-controvertida-historia-del-taco-bol\/","title":{"rendered":"La controvertida historia del taco bol"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Una tortilla frita gigante con forma de bol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lechuga, jitomate, queso rallado, pollo o ternera&#8230;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todos los ingredientes necesarios que componen un taco, pero deconstruidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es un taco bol, ensalada de taco o ensalada de tostada de taco y lleva el t\u00edpico \u00abmartes de tacos\u00bb a otro nivel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo surgi\u00f3 esta creaci\u00f3n, un sabroso giro del taco, un cl\u00e1sico plato <em>texmex<\/em>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su origen se remonta a Disneylandia, hacia 1955.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Los or\u00edgenes antiguos de la ensalada de taco<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abLos primeros registros de la ensalada de taco se remontan a la d\u00e9cada de 1960 y su predecesor fue el <em>tacup<\/em>, del tama\u00f1o de una taza de t\u00e9: carne picada, frijoles, crema agria y queso servidos en un peque\u00f1o bol hecho enteramente de Fritos\u00bb, se lee en el libro <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Taco-USA-Mexican-Conquered-America\/dp\/1439148627\"><em>Taco USA, How Mexican Food Conquered America<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los <em>tacups <\/em>fueron idea del fundador y presidente ejecutivo de Fritos Charles Elmer Doolin, quien fund\u00f3 Frito Company en Texas en 1932.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abDurante la Depresi\u00f3n de los a\u00f1os 30, Doolin ten\u00eda una confiter\u00eda en San Antonio \u00ab, escribi\u00f3 NPR. \u00abEn una gasolinera, Doolin encontr\u00f3 a un mexicano que fabricaba chips de ma\u00edz extruidos con masa, los fre\u00eda y los vend\u00eda en bolsitas. Eran fritos, &#8216;cositas fritas&#8217;, la comida playera de M\u00e9xico\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SA300: 300 San Antonians: Charles Doolin\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_LoGiD7WStc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El mexicano Gustavo Olgu\u00edn le vendi\u00f3 su receta de fritos a Doolin por $100 y el tentempi\u00e9 acab\u00f3 convirti\u00e9ndose en un \u00e9xito, con su propio restaurante y su mascota Frito Kid en uno de los lugares m\u00e1s felices de la tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abDoolin fue uno de los primeros inversores en Disneyland, que abri\u00f3 sus puertas en 1955, y construy\u00f3 el restaurante Casa de Fritos en el parque de atracciones\u00bb, dijo la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tshaonline.org\/handbook\/entries\/doolin-charles-elmer-c-e\">Asociaci\u00f3n Hist\u00f3rica del Estado de Texas<\/a> (TSHA). \u00abCasa de Fritos se ubic\u00f3 primero frente a la atracci\u00f3n del barco de vapor en Main Street y m\u00e1s tarde se traslad\u00f3 a un terreno m\u00e1s grande frente a la salida de la atracci\u00f3n de la selva en Frontierland\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El men\u00fa de Casa de Fritos, como se muestra aqu\u00ed, inclu\u00eda platos mexicanos y <em>texmex <\/em>tradicionales como enchiladas, chili y tamales. Una novedad destacada era el <em>tacup<\/em>, el taco bol original.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEsta segunda encarnaci\u00f3n del restaurante Casa de Fritos llevaba en funcionamiento unas dos d\u00e9cadas y media (desde junio de 1957 hasta el 1 de octubre de 1982), cuando pas\u00f3 a llamarse La Casa Mexicana\u00bb, coment\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.disneyhistory101.com\/new-gallery-11\">DisneyHistory101.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Casa Mexicana, patrocinada por Lawry&#8217;s Foods, cambi\u00f3 el <em>tacup<\/em> de su predecesor por la \u00abensalada de tacos\u00bb, descrita como \u00abuna tortilla de harina frita con carne o pollo a elegir con frijoles, lechuga, queso y tomates servida con guacamole y crema agria\u00bb.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"911\" class=\"wp-image-14370\" style=\"width: 500px;\" src=\"https:\/\/nuestrostories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Casa-de-Fritos-menu.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nuestrostories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Casa-de-Fritos-menu.jpg 439w, https:\/\/nuestrostories.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Casa-de-Fritos-menu-137x250.jpg 137w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El restaurante actual en la hist\u00f3rica ubicaci\u00f3n de Disneyland Frontierland <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyland.disney.go.com\/dining\/disneyland\/rancho-del-zocalo-restaurante\/menus\/lunch-and-dinner\">Rancho del Z\u00f3calo<\/a>, junto a Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, todav\u00eda vende el <em>tacup<\/em>, tambi\u00e9n conocido como ensalada de taco, pero ha recorrido un largo camino desde sus d\u00edas \u00aba la carta\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda, el <em>tacup <\/em>fue reemplazado una vez m\u00e1s con dos elementos de men\u00fa actualizados: la ensalada de tostada con pollo por $12.79 y la ensalada de tostada con carne de res en $13.49.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Pol\u00e9mica por el taco bol de 2016<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En un extra\u00f1o giro, el taco bol se hizo viral y tuvo al mundo en vilo cuando el entonces candidato a la presidencia de Estados Unidos Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/05\/05\/politics\/donald-trump-taco-bowl-cinco-de-mayo\/index.html\">pos\u00f3 con lo que \u00e9l llam\u00f3 un \u00abtaco bol\u00bb<\/a> el Cinco de Mayo de 2016. Era un intento de atraer a los votantes hispanos, seg\u00fan reportaron entonces los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su cuenta de la red social Twitter, Trump escribi\u00f3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a1Feliz #CincoDeMayo!
